NOW that the war in Iraq has been won Tony Blair should have come to his senses that a common foreign policy, single constitution and army for the EU is unworkable, as all countries differ over many issues and have totally diverse cultures and ways of life.
France and Germany refused to support us and the US in the fight to liberate the Iraqi people, but now have to get back in our good books to get contracts to help rebuild Iraq.
The Iraq crisis has proved that the EU's ideas are unworkable and that many European countries are anti-America and anti-Britain, in particular France and Germany. Tony Blair is still as keen to take us into the Euro and in doing so putting ordinary people's jobs, businesses, homes and pensions in jeopardy.
Last year I went to Dublin and saw for myself how prices have shot up since the Euro was brought in.
Inflation and unemployment continues to rise in Euroland countries while Britain, Denmark and Sweden are lucky. Only a complete moron will vote yes to joining the single currency from which there would be no way out.
Tony Blair needs to decide where his loyalties lie, our close friends in America or those backstabbers across the Channel.
