AWARD-WINNING furniture company Trannon has been selected to showcase its work at a major exhibition starting today.
Trannon, whose workshop and showroom are between Wilton and South Newton, will join a number of specially chosen British companies whose work goes on display at the BBC Good Homes Show at Birmingham's NEC from today until May 11.
Three pieces of Trannon's furniture will form part of a home set in an area of the show known as Inspiration Avenue.
The pieces selected are the C1 rattan reclining chair, which is part of the permanent collection at London's Victoria & Albert Museum, the Cardiff sideboard and the glass-top coffee table.
Trannon director Roy Tam said: "Inspiration Avenue is, as its name suggests, an area where some of the country's most ground-breaking and inspiring companies get to show their work, so it's an honour to be part of this."
Trannon is a leading specialist in steam-bent furniture, made ecologically from locally grown ash.
