THE Swindon festival of Literature is well under way, but there are more than 30 events still to run.
Matt Holland, the man directing this, the 10th festival just as he has directed its predecessors, is delighted with its success so far.
He said: "It's impossible to pick a highlight from all these acts because every one is fantastic while it happens."
Every day, there have been three to four events spread across the day, featuring the prize-winning novelists, poets, storytellers, philosophers, arists and other performers.
Highlights so far have included appearances by former Mastermind presenter Magnus Magnusson, tabloid agony aunt, Claire Rayner, and controversial former MP Edwina Currie.
