Salisbury & District League update
SALISBURY & District Premier Division champions George & Dragon closed their season on a winning note with a 2-1 victory at Tisbury.
Despite the absence of key players, they took the lead via a Paul Shelly free kick shortly before half time.
After the break, six players were booked and James Read considered himself unlucky to be sent off.
Tisbury exploited the one-man advantage by equalising, but George & Dragon hit back with a Mat Alford winner to cap their season of glory.
Castle Street Club secured the Division Three title with a comfortable 3-0 victory against Langford.
