A CORPORATE trainer from Swindon has been invited by a top international school of banking to become a guest lecturer.
Geoff Marsh, 39, who runs Dansam Ltd in Wootton Bassett, says he was stunned when the Swiss School of Banking in Zurich contacted him and asked him to become a visiting lecturer in practical private banking. The course starts in September and last for four days.
He said: "They could have called on experts from Paris or Wall Street but they chose a man from Swindon.
"I was amazed to be approached, the school contacted people I have worked with in banking and they recommended me.
"I can't wait to start working there.
"Basically what I am doing is to teach private bankers how to sell to very wealthy people."
Mr Marsh heads out to Zurich this summer, where he will give a series of lectures to students at the school. He has been in the training industry for 16 years
His company Dansam Ltd, which was founded four years ago, offers training courses to a wide range of clients from Lloyds Bank IPB to Sketchley Dry Cleaners and Kall Kwik Printing.
They range from team building to sales, presentation techniques and problem solving.
