THE Dr Martens League season only ended on Saturday, but Chippenham Town boss Tommy Saunders is already shaping his team ahead of the new campaign.
The Bluebirds manager has ensured that 12 of the current squad will remain at Hardenhuish next term, with winger Scott Walker signing a new two-year deal and striker Adie Mings extending his contract for another season.
The pair join Mark Badman, Simon Charity, Tom Gould, Charlie Griffin, Mark Harrington, Gary Horgan, Martin Paul, Matt Rawlings, Wayne Thorne and Colin Towler on the list of definites for Town's second season in the Premier Division.
Keeper James Bittner has been offered a new deal, although the former Fulham custodian still harbours ambitions of a return to the pro game.
Saunders' usual sweeping summer changes appear to be a thing of the past, with the Town boss looking to sign just three players during the close season to add to the squad that secured fifth place in their first Premier season.
CORSHAM Town have formally confirmed that Nobby Bush will be leaving his post as Chippenham assistant to take over as manager of the Screwfix First Division side.
Former Bluebirds midfielder John Woods will be Bush's No 2 as expected.
