BON Bons, the Devizes shop in the Market Place selling sweets, biscuits and chocolates, is up for sale.
David Hunter and his wife, Carol, opened the shop in February 2002.
They are selling up because Mr Hunter is to take up a post as a consultant in the logistics business.
Mr Hunter said: "The shop is for sale as a going concern and we sincerely hope that it will continue as it is.
"This was our first retail shop and it has performed exactly as we thought. It's broken even in the first year which is good as it takes most businesses until the second or third year to get to that stage.
"The shop has been carefully run by us and we have got a wonderful customer base.
"It's been a great success. The chocolate products we have sold have been very well received as have the sweets. We've expanded into coffees and giftware and I believe the range can be developed further by introducing patisserie products for example."
Mr and Mr Hunter, who live near Devizes, opened the shop after selling their distribution and warehousing business some two years previously.
Mr Hunter said: "We always wanted to have our own sweet shop and it's a dream we have realised.
"We decided to sell it because I had an offer to do consultancy work in my previous line of business which was so attractive that I couldn't turn my back on it."
