I WRITE to express my concern regarding the Evening Advertiser report in which Churchfields School Headteacher, Steve Flavin, stated that Swindon Services Catering Team had not come up to the high standards expected.
Perhaps Mr Flavin could cast his mind back to September 2002 in which his Public Report Magazine 'Headlines' stated that on Wednesday, September 18, a visiting inspector judged that the quality of food had received the Healthy Schools Award.
He also indicated that on September 30 a breakfast club would be available and open to all students and staff and this would be provided by Swindon Services.
Finally the comment in this report states that one of the dining halls is out of action.
Is there a suggestion that Swindon Services is at fault?
If so, I don't think this is correct.
