I would like to congratulate Mrs Rankin, all the staff, children, parents and governors of Penhill Primary School on a well-deserved Ofsted Report which was published this week.
This report has justly highlighted the fantastic all-round improvement made under the leadership of headteacher Linda Rankin, the dedication and commitment shown by all the staff, and the hard work, effort and willingness to learn by the children.
The report has recognised the amount of good teaching achieved through-out key stage 1 and 2, here at Penhill Primary School in the face of many challenging circumstances.
I would also like to congratulate the governing body for all there support, hard work and commitment that they have shown the school, and I hope that the parents, friends and fellow residents of Penhill are as proud of the success of Penhill Primary School as I am.
Freda Milne
Chairwoman of Governers
