THE versatile Carnival Band is returning to Corsham Primary School for an annual music workshop on May 10.
Members of the band will spend a day working with children from year five, giving them the chance to experience the fun of music and rhythm.
The musicians will use story telling to help the children experience the different instruments and sounds used.
The pupils will then show off their new skills at a performance for the rest of the school in the afternoon, which will be filled with music and drama.
Headteacher Fiona Allen said each year the children really look forward to the workshop. She said: "It will be lots of fun and the rest of the school love seeing the performances."
The band will be following up the workshop with an evening concert in Corsham Town Hall.
The workshop and Carnivalesque concert will both take place tomorrow and tickets can be bought in advance at the Tourist Information Centre.
