THOSE with a passion for Indian cuisine in Westbury have the perfect excuse to indulge themselves since the opening of Tale of Spice 2 restaurant in the town centre.
After the success of Tale of Spice in Trowbridge, which opened nearly three years ago, the management are branching out and Tale of Spice 2, in the High Street, Westbury, was recently formally opened with a VIP evening packed with familiar local faces.
Manager at Tale of Spice 2, Shepon Rahman said: "We have a very good reputation in Trowbridge, and saw the chance to open another restaurant in Westbury after the previous restaurant there closed down.
"We really have cornered the market in producing proper Indian food, and I'm pleased that people in Westbury have taken to the new restaurant so well."
Business has been busy since the restaurant opened less than a fortnight ago, and customers have been picking out their favourites from the Tale of Spice 2 menu.
On their first Sunday opening, staff were kept very busy due to the popular buffet menu, where diners can pick from an 'All you can eat' range of dishes.
Mr Rahman said: "Here in Westbury some of the milder curries are proving very popular, like the jalfreezi.
"We find people go for different dishes in different towns, and in Westbury every order at the moment has a Korma dish on it."
