A WARMINSTER tea room is among the top 150 in Britain after being officially recognised for its high quality service.
Jacqueline's Restaurant and Tea Rooms in the High Street is now a member of the invitation-only Tea Council Guild of Tea Shops. The guild ranges in membership from rural teashops to lounges in large London hotels.
To become a member, Jacqueline's was thoroughly vetted by the Tea Council for its tea making, customer service and value for money.
The Tea Council will maintain a watching brief throughout the year to ensure standards of excellence are maintained.
Mark Brassington, who co-owns the shop with his partner Jacqui Cawston, said: "It lets people know before they come in that they are going to be served to a high standard. We will be putting this on all our advertising."
