Robbie Lardner has confirmed he is quitting as manager of Melksham Town and this time he means it.
Lardner threatened to step down back in February, but changed his mind after an upturn in results.
But after some serious soul searching, the 40-year-old player-boss believes the time is right to walk away from the Screwfix Premier Division outfit.
He said: "I've had three good years here and I feel now is the right time to let someone else have a go.
"I will look back on my time with the club with fond memories."
Lardner has no immediate plans to seek employment elsewhere, but insists his playing days are not over just yet.
Assistant Keith McCrumb is also stepping down.
