WHAT a great result for the Conservatives of Swindon, at last the Labour group may now get the message that they cannot just steam roll over everyone to get their way.
They have at last been put in their place and shown what Swindon people really want a decent council which cares about the electorate and has proper priorities.
What a shame we couldn't get those extra 28 votes to kick them straight out.
With reference to your article on Friday stating voters in Penhill are angry about the provision of a marquee for them to vote in that was inaccessible by wheelchair and that elderly people were frightened to walk on the boards.
Kenneth Diamond is asking who is going to pay for it?
Who do you think, the taxpayers of Penhill will be paying through their taxes (this is what a Labour council has done that the people of Penhill have voted to return)!
A CHAHAL
