Mr Cuss, who has supported the RNLI for 17 years and has helped to raise thousands of pounds for the charity, was also presented with a framed certificate and citation.

He also handed over a cheque for £750 from the club's annual sponsored swim in the River Thames last year.
Over the past 10 years the club has donated some £8,000 to RNLI from the annual swim.
