SOME of the best photography in the South West is currently on display at West Swindon Library.
The Western Counties Photographic Federation annual exhibition includes 146 prints and 113 slides.
It opened on Saturday when prizes were handed out for the best works.
Among the winners from the Swindon area was Mel Gigg, from Blunsdon, who received the bronze medal for monochrome prints for Door in the Wall and a ribbon for his slide, Is it Faith.
His depiction of the finishing line at Blunsdon Dog Track won the gold medal for best colour print.
Maureen Albright from Aldbourne and Clive Smith from Swindon were both awarded ribbons.
The exhibited works were selected from more than 1,100 entries.
The exhibition is on until May 23 during normal library opening hours.
