FIRSTLY may I thank all the staff on Mercury Ward, special thanks to Claire and Amanda, for all the care given to me.
But may I now ask if the chief executive and her staff are cooking the books on trolley waits in the A&E.
I ask this as when I was put on a trolley there at 10pm I was told a bed would not be long.
Fifteen hours later I got a bed. When I asked questions about the fact that the time spent on a trolley should only be 12 hours in the A&E, I was told this was correct, but only from the admission time of 3am. So the previous hours I spent on the trolley didn't count.
