RUNS were at a premium in the Swindon and District Midweek League as only a handful of sides chalked up treble figures.
In Division One, last season's runners-up Nationwide fell seven runs short of a ton, beating promoted Wroughton by seven wickets. Nationwide posted 93-7 with Tuton (40) and Harpal (38no) taking the home side to victory.
Nalgo hit 147-6 with Steele-Davies making 45 not out. They then restricted Winterbourne to 114-9, with Suhail taking 4-28.
Zurich made 90-9 against South West then saw their total overtaken for the loss of just three wickets.

In Division Two, Lydiard Millicent and Nationwide had mixed fortunes.
Lydiard struggled to 67-8 against WH Smith and then restricted the home side to 42-8.
United Churches, relegated from Division One, lost away at Chameleon.
The home side were bowled out for 97, with Oliver taking 4-18 and Lang 3-6.
Kumar hit 46 as the Churches could only manage 67 -6 in return.
Crosslink hit 92-6 then contained Talismen to 55-5. Nationwide 2nds thought they were strolling to victory against Wanborough, who were struggling at 27-5 at one stage.
But some rear-guard action from Wanborough took their score up to 101-5 before they held Nationwide to 79-9.
In Division Three, CS Nomads made a sparkling 102-8 at home to Stratton.
And they wrapped up victory dismissing Stratton for 55.
Fox & Hounds stormed to 129-4, then bowled out Monahans for 75.
Newly promoted Motorola from division four thought they'd have a tough time against Ashbury, who came down from division two, though it didn't turn out quite that way.
Motorola made a creditable 118-7 Khan hitting 31 with Carter unbeaten on 29 and Peerwala hitting a quick 29.
Ashbury then suffered and could only make 23 all-out in return.
Kilaru took 4-10, Bonfield 2-5 and Peerwala 2-0.
At Mannington the RP's progressed to 90-6 before Sevenfields replied with 91 -6.
