SOUTH Wilts Cricket Club's hopes of securing their first win of the season were thwarted by the rain for the second week running.
Having had their match at Hampshire Academy washed out seven days earlier, Rob Wade's side were in confident mood against Bournemouth at Wilton Road where, despite losing 21 overs through rain, they posted a useful 207-9.
However, a revised total of 120 off 29 overs proved too simple for the visitors.
South Wilts' miserable weekend continued when they exited the National Knockout competition at the second round stage to Corsham.
