SOCCER playing colleagues of the late Andy Britten of Pewsey marked the first anniversary of his death with two special matches.
Mr Britten, 42, collapsed and died from a heart attack on May 4 last year.
He formerly played with Pewsey Vale Football Club and was its reserve team manager for a while.
On Sunday colleagues organised two games that raised more than £700 for the British Heart Foundation.
Former Pewsey players returned from as far away as Manchester, Cornwall and Kent to play against the current team.
In a second match at the recreation ground, Pewsey youth players pitted themselves against the seniors.
Cash was raised for the BHF through donations and from a raffle.
