Rain brought play between Durham and Worcestershire to a premature end at Stockton.

Champions Surrey, hoping to reclaim top spot in the Frizzell County Championship First Division, enjoyed a successful start to their encounter with Leicestershire at The Oval as they skittled their visitors for 200.
Azhar Mahmood did most of the damage, claiming 5-78 before Pakistan team-mate Saqlain Mushtaq wrapped up the innings by removing the only batsman to offer resistance, Leicestershire skipper Phil DeFreitas, for 65.
Mark Ramprakash (59 not out) and Alec Stewart (58no) then offset the losses of Mark Butcher (39) and Ian Ward (19) as Surrey closed on a healthy 182-2.
