CORSHAM travelled to South Wilts in the National Knockout Cup on Sunday.
Corsham captain Craig Gibbens lost the toss, and South Wilts elected to bat.
Paul Clifford and Toby Sharpe again bowled well and it was Clifford who took early wickets, removing Jamie Glasson (20), Jason Laney (5) and Russell Rowe (20).
Rob Wade added 34 and Tim Lamb 52 and a late burst from Chris Steedon catapulted the home team to 202 for eight from their 45 overs.
In reply Paul Marsh smashed his way to a quickfire 20, and other useful contributions from Steve Copland (25), Mark Coxon (24) and Mark Hadrill (21) to build the foundations for the reply.
It was, however, Wiltshire wicket keeper Neil Shardlow, who rescued the reply with help from Sharpe.
With 37 required from 21 balls, a Corsham victory looked unlikely, but Sharpe smashed three boundaries, and Shardlow completed a fine half century.
Needing 13 off the last over in a dramatic finale, and six off the last two balls Shardlow smashed a massive six off the penultimate ball to secure victory.
Wiltshire wicketkeeper Shardlow ended with an excellent 58 not out and Sharpe 20 not out as Corsham won an entertaining and close game by three wickets.
