SCREWFIX DIRECT LEAGUE: DAN Beck scooped the first team honours as Corsham Town held their annual presentation night at The Southbank on Saturday.
The former Chippenham Town youngster took both the players' player and managers' player of the year awards after helping the club to a 16th placed finish in the Screwfix Direct First Division last term.
The reserve team honours went to Gary Blackwood and Chris Weeks, who won the players' player and manager's player awards respectively.
Blackwood also scooped the manager's player of the year from youth team boss Pete Fox. Ben Highmore, who plays senior football for rivals Calne Town, won the players' player of the year award for the youth team.
Fox guided the youth team to the runners-up spot in the Wiltshire County Floodlit League in only their second season since formation.
Screwfix Direct League secretary Ken Clarke presented five awards, including the young player of the year prize to defender Russell Lodge.
Former Melksham man Frank Coleman took the supporters' player of the year, the Methuen Award went to Les and Mary Blackman, and the president's award to John Cuthbertson.
John Freegard and Dave King, who took joint responsibility for first team affairs following the resignation of Mark Godley, received the chairman's award for their efforts.
