STORE owner John Holmes gave scores of pensioners a musical treat to remember.
Mr Holmes, of Holmes Music in Faringdon Road, whisked 100 people off to Turner's Old Time Music Hall in Northampton.
He has been organising the musical outings for 10 years and always looks forward to the occasion.
"It is wonderful fun. Everyone really enjoys the jaunt," he added.
Besides live Victoriana music, the trip includes a special lunch and afternoon cream tea.
Mary Radcliffe, 78, from Old Town, well known for her Queen Victoria impersonations, was among the coach party.
She said: "I am not wearing the full outfit but I do look quite Victorian. I have never been to an old time music hall before but it sounds great."
It was also the first visit for Gwen Warren, 82, from Stratton St Margaret.
She said: "I was phoned up out of the blue and asked to come. I am thrilled because treats like this don't happen every day."
Mel Shore, 57, from Eldene, was hoping to revive memories of the music hall he visited in Leeds during his youth.
He said: "This is a fantastic day out and will be quite nostalgic for me."
