STRATTON CHURCHWAY host their annual Charity Bowls Gala on Sunday.
This year all monies raised will be donated to the Wiltshire Air Ambulance.
A total of 24 teams will be competing this year for the Terry Preston Memorial Trophy.
Each year the event raises in excess of £1000 and the charities to have benefitted in the past include the Prospect Hospice, CALM, Multiple Sclerosis Society and numerous other local charities.
The event starts at 10am and runs through till around 7pm.
n WILTSHIRE Vice-Presidents secured a narrow two shots victory in their opening outdoor match of the 2003 season.
They beat City of Bath Bowling Association 99-97 at Bath Bowling Club.
They only took the honours on two of the six rinks and drew on another.
However, the 18-shot victory gained by Ian Francis' rink proved decisive in the overall scores.
Wilts V-Ps next game is this Sunday against Buckinghamshire for the David Exton Memorial Perputual Challenge Plate.
