MONTHS of hard training will come to fruition for six Warminster women in London tomorrow night when they take part in the Playtex Moonwalk.
The group of friends have called themselves the Warminster Wonders in honour of the Wonderbra. All walkers will be wearing coloured bras on the midnight marathon walk through the capital's streets.
The event is organised by health charity Walk the Walk, and all funds raised go to Breakthrough Breast Cancer and the Bristol Cancer Help Centre. The Wonders have already raised £2000 for the charities.
Fitness instructor Caroline Aylesbury, 29, who works at Warminster Sports Centre, will be joined on the walk by Julie Hurd, 40, Jane Warren, 43, Debra Bursnell, 43, and sisters Vanessa Kyte, 38, and Nicola Noble, 41.
Mrs Kyte, who has had a double mastectomy, ran the Bath Half Marathon in March, raising £3,300 for Bath's RUH hospital.
Mrs Noble said: "We are very positive to be doing something for such a worthwhile cause."
