On Tuesday I will finish my term as Mayor of Trowbridge. Without exception, this has been a wonderful experience and I consider myself honoured to have been trusted with this role.
Throughout the term I have been warmly welcomed by an eclectic and dedicated range of individuals, groups and organisations both local and county wide.
It would be impractical to name individual groups, but I would like to pay particular testament to the young people of Trowbridge who have been so active throughout the town at a number of events I have attended. Our county town is a place to be proud of and its people, young and old, are a shining example to the rest of Wiltshire.
I would also like to thank my deputy, Arthur Ransom, who sadly did not retain his seat at the recent election, but who has contributed immensely to the wellbeing of Trowbridge, both as a councillor and resident.
To fellow councillors, past and present, I extend my thanks for their support and trust the new council will continue to work in harmony with the common goal of the good of Trowbridge. Assuring you of my continued support for Trowbridge,
Cllr Andrew Bryant.
Mayor of Trowbridge.
