PLEASE may I use your pages to thank everyone for making my retirement from my post as nursery nurse at Trowbridge maternity such a wonderful time.
Thank you everyone for the gifts, cake, poems, balloons, banners, etc, and a truly wonderful, unforgettable evening send-off organised by Sue and Angela.
So many people have made my working life as a nursery nurse very special indeed: maternity staff and doctors over a period of 33 years, all the supporting ward staff, kitchen staff, porters and receptionists, especially Di.
I have made many, many good friends. But above all I would like to thank all the mums and babies that I have had the privilege of meeting in my work, for all the triumphs, tears and the cuddles.
Just in the past couple of years another generation being born, Viv and Liz, Joanne and Oliver among quite a few.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart I will miss you all so much.
ANN DANIELS,
Crandon Lea,
Holt,
Trowbridge.
