ONCE again in support for her pro asylum crusade, Mrs Lubin finds it necessary to vilify someone who dares to disagree with her. The victim this time is Mr John Utting (EA May 8).

I would remind readers that this is the same Mrs Lubin who in spite of numerous regrets, has failed to explain why a person fleeing in fear of his life should travel half way across Europe to seek asylum in this country instead of stopping in the first safe region reached.

This is a plain and straight forward question and deserves an answer. It is a question which is not going to go away and if I don't ask it again I can assure Mrs Lubin that there are several people who certainly will.

In the meantime and until an answer is forthcoming I suggest that readers ignore any further correspondence received from Anne Lubin on the subject of refuges and asylum seekers.
