TROWBRIDGE finished runners-up in the West Wiltshire girls' sevens tournament at Bradford on Avon on Sunday.
Bath side Avon finished winners of the tournament which attracted 10 girls' teams from Dorset and Gloucestershire as well as Wiltshire teams, including Warminster.
For the first time it was held on Bradford's new ground in Ashley Lane.
Representatives from the women's and girls' sections of the Rugby Football Union presented the medals to the winners.
Bradford has been chosen by West Wiltshire District Council as a centre of development for girls' rugby.
The youth section will have their fun day on Sunday morning at the new ground in Ashley Lane, off the Winsley Bypass.
The event starts at 10am with all sorts of fun, games and activities involving all the age groups from seven to 15 years old.
Players from Bath Rugby are due to present the awards at midday.
