Swindon travel agents are remaining calm in the aftermath of terrorism threats in Kenya.
It appears holidaymakers from around the borough have chosen to avoid the African country, even before the Government warned of imminent attacks on British planes.
Thomas Cook spokeswoman Faith Wootton said the company had not offered Kenya as a destination this summer. She said: "We aren't taking bookings for Kenya until November so this hasn't affected our clients."
Nicky Chawala, manager of Flightlinker.com, in Westcott Place, said the company had no bookings for Kenya until August.
Mr Chawala, 30, said: "We had some clients who came back from Kenya last month safe and sound.
"I'm not too worried about the situation at the moment as our next bookings aren't for another few months and hopefully by then the situation will have eased off. "
A Going Places spokeswoman said: "Any Swindon passengers who have booked up until May 23 may cancel or amend their flights. After this dates clients should keep an eye on Foreign Office advice."
Debbie Watkins, spokeswoman for Lunn Poly, was unable to confirm whether Swindon holidaymakers were affected by the suspension, blaming the sheer volume of inquiries received since the alert.
But she issued the company's standard statement.
She said: "The Foreign Office is advising against non-essential travel and recommend British nationals in Kenya keep a low profile and be vigilant.
"ABTA is currently discussing with the Federation of Tour Operators what arrangements can be made for holidaymakers currently in Kenya."
The Foreign Office phone line is 0207 008 0000.
Some 1,200 British tourists are thought to be stranded in Kenya after the suspension started at 10pm on Thursday.
