IT was very short sighted policy of the council to sell off the land at Stratton Hospital and PM Hospital.
The buildings may have been old, but it was a haven for the old folk who were looked after so well.
With residential homes closing, what is the future for the ageing population in the area? Are there any plans for a care home to be found to look after people who can no longer manage at home?
It seems the new hospital does not want to care for long term patients, they have not got the room. A problem which needs attention.
