A LETTER signed by Queen Elizabeth I is the star attraction of a new exhibition in Wiltshire.
The letter summoned Edward Seymour, a prominent Wiltshire and Devonshire aristocrat, to a meeting about Elizabeth's cousin, Mary Queen of Scots.
The exhibition is open at the Wiltshire and Swin-don Record Office in Trowbridge until August.
Other exhibits include a Georgian letter by a Pitman Stagg of Pewsey, describing a battle between English and French forces at Nova Scotia in Canada in 1758.
