THE Swindon Rotary Club's appeal for unwanted tools is one of the simplest and best schemes yet for helping the people of a Third World country.
Most of us probably have an old but serviceable hammer, spanner or drill that we no longer want.
Adding it to a collection that will go to Sierra Leone costs us nothing, but contributes invaluable help for people who are struggling to rebuild their war-ravaged country.
So clear out your garage or tool shed. You will be doing yourself and them a priceless favour.
