After winning the toss Swindon Under 13 captain Paul Laggett elected to bat against West Wilts on a good pitch.
Swindon openers Tucker and Ferkins started steadily and gradually increased the scoring rate and after 15 overs the score had moved on to 63 without loss.
With the run rate increasing Swindon lost Ferkins for 37 in the 21st over with the score at 93.
One over later Tucker retired for a well constructed 50.
With Rigali and Laggett at the wicket the run rate was increased due to some lusty blows and excellent running between the wicket,in the last six overs 47 runs were scored as Swindon closed on 153 from the 30 overs.
The West Wilts innings started poorly with Iles having White caught at the wicket by Ferkins for 0 in the second over.
With the reintroduction of the Swindon opening pair the game was soon coming to an end with Read finishing with 3-16 and Iles taking the last two wickets in the final over to finish with 3-10 leaving West Wilts 95 all out and the Swindon side worthy winners with a fine all round team performance.
