A major, one-day business event which aims to help SMEs grow and overcome their operational problems is due to take place in Swindon on June 26. And better still, it's free.
The Expertise 2003 exhibition is being supported by Swindon Chamber of Commerce, together with 20 other local companies and organisations and, unusually, boasts a dearth of stands and stalls.
Instead it promises experts representing every key business discipline and skill, to be on hand act to answer questions and queries.
Targeted primarily at small and medium-size enterprises (SMEs), the event also hopes to attract interest from some of Swindon's bigger employers.
According to Dennis Grant, chief executive of Swindon Chamber of Commerce: "If you want advice on designing a direct mailer or interactive website, tips on how to improve your chances of gaining media coverage, or an HR problem with a difficult employee, you'll find the answers and advice at Expertise 2003."
The event is taking place between 10am and 6pm on Thursday, June 26 at the Express, Holiday Inn, by junction 16, M4.
