KNOWING how to stay safe on the roads has earned pupils at an Upper Stratton primary a new school computer.
More than 2,000 pupils from 24 schools entered Swindon Council's 12th road safety quiz, sponsored by Nationwide.
They initially completed a quiz. Nationwide then hosted the 12-school final, when teams of three competed in five rounds of questions. Three pupils from St Cath-erine's RC Primary School in Upper Stratton Tom Baxter, 11, Kieran O'Driscoll, 11, and Tamara Scrannage, 11 won the competition. Headteacher Brenda Martin said: "All schools know road safety is very important and we do our best to make pupils aware of the dangers."
