THE Stroud and Swindon sponsored Swindon and District 4-Rink Bowls League is beginning to get in full swing with most clubs having played their first three matches.
Last season's Division One champions Rodbourne Cheney are once again the head of affairs leading the table with three wins from three games.
They are followed by Shrivenham and Highworth, who have lost one match apiece.
Cheney's most recent win was a 92-59-shot victory over Westlecott A with Gary Morphet and Steve Cornish helping their rinks to a 26-13-shot win over Graeme Cleeves and a 27-14-win over Keith Wiffen.
Dave Jones' rink beat David Dixon 23-17 and in the tightest rink of the night Tony Felmington beat John Garrett's rink by just one shot, 16-15, to enable Cheney to chalk a maximum 14 points.
There was a thriller at Wootton Bassett, where the A side beat the B side by just one shot 80-79.
John Wilks' rink for Bassett A gained a 26-17 win over Ken Row to tip the scales in his sides favour but Dave Snell fought back for Bassett B with a resounding 28-9-rink success over Vince Hilton.
Highworth chalked-up three figures with a 100-60-shot win over Cricklade.
Eric Winter, John Emmerson and M Hope all gaining an emphatic victory on their rinks.
Chris Blount made sure of 14 points by beating D Impey by two shots 17-15.
Town Gardens, relegated from Division One last season, are unbeaten from three matches at the top of Division Two with County Ground in second spot.
In the latest match, Gardens beat Garrards 91-64, thanks mainly to Barry Pittucks' rink, who beat John Wallis 30-14 for a 16-shot victory.
For Garrards, Tom Herman picked up two points for his side with a 19-17-shot win over Malcolm Price.
Highest shot scorers in the section were County Ground, who beat Haydon Wick 110-39, with wins from D Blaxhall 27-11, T Willis 27-11, B Ealey 27-8, P Baxley 29-9.
Still to register a victory are Swindon Westlecott A and Supermarine in Division One and West End and Garrards, Wanborough and North End in Division Two.
