WILTSHIRE emergency services are joining forces to help encourage more volunteers to sign up.
To mark National Volunteer Week local emergency services are putting on a live display at the Five Rivers Leisure Centre in Salisbury on June 1 from 2-5pm.
Volunteers from the fire, police and ambulance services will stage first aid and fire safety demonstrations and a dramatic water rescue.
Richard Palusinski, of Wiltshire special constabulary, said: "This is the first time we have collaborated to show the variety of our work and attract recruits. Now we hope to find the right service for the right volunteer."
The highlight will be a major incident exercise about a major traffic collision.
Taking part in the recruitment day will be Wiltshire special constabulary, the retained fire service, British Red Cross, St John Ambulance, WRVS and CasSim.
