CHILDREN at a west Wiltshire school have been given praised by the Government after they earned their second national achievement award.
Pupils at Monkton Farleigh and South Wraxhall Primary School were given the award for their high level of academic achievement.
With just 41 pupils it is one of the smallest schools in the county, and does not publish its SAT results. Head-teacher Sue Havranek said: "Without public SAT results a small school like ours sometimes does not get noticed, and people don't realise how well the children are doing, so this award is a real mile-stone."
This is the second time the children at Monkton Farleigh and South Wraxhall School have been given a national award for their achievements.
