THE Armed Forces and their efforts during the war in Iraq were the focus of a charity tribute gig in Bradford on Avon on Saturday.
Staff organised the tribute to the armed services and raised £1,011 to donate to army charities.
Riverside Inn owner Peter Eveleigh, a former member of one of the regiments serving with the 7th Armoured Brigade in Iraq, said now was a crucial time to keep up the support for the families of soldiers who lost their lives.
Mr Eveleigh said: "Now the fighting phase is largely completed, it is easy to overlook the continuing admiration and support felt for the professionalism and devotion to duty displayed by our forces, and there's a need to continue that support."
Highlights of the night included performances from Bite-Back and Cause for Concern, with an impromptu performance from Dan McGrath, who works at the Riverside Inn.
