IMAGE Factory one of Wiltshire's leading retail and advertising screen-printing companies has bought the leasehold for the former NHS logistics building at Bumpers Farm Industrial Estate in Chippenham.
The £1.665 million deal is one of the biggest deals in Chippenham this year and with refurbishment planned for the future Image Factory's investment will top £2 million.
A subsidiary of the Quarto Group, Image Factory was originally based in Corsham, but business was proving so successful it now needs larger premises and is more than doubling floor space by moving into the 50,000 sq ft facility. Simon Kingsley, an associate at property agent Alder King's Swindon office, helped secure the deal. He said: "The former NHS logistics building, which is one of the largest at Bumpers Farm, has proved to be a perfect solution for Image Factory.
"The building provides plenty of room for expansion with plenty of loading doors and a large yard. Another attraction was the location of Bumpers Farm, with its easy access to the M4 motorway."
Image Factory's 21,000 sq ft facility at Corsham Commercial Centre is now on the market and is available freehold for £950,000.
