I WAS interested to hear about the council-run IT sessions that were held in Brain Court, Stratton.
I speak as someone who had very little knowledge of computers and information technology until a few years ago.
I think this is a really important skill for everyone to gain, no matter what their age or background.
When I began using computers, I was a real technophobe and I was so scared of making the smallest mistake. Today I can not live without computers.
With e-mail, you can keep in touch with friends in far-flung places at the click of a button. Spreadsheets and documents are useful too, as is the internet. Everyone can benefit, whether young or retired.
