Sarah Burnell, the club professional at Libbaton, has achieved many things in golf but had never won a team Pro-am in eight years as a professional.
But that all changed when the former England amateur international from Somerset - a former Burnham and Berrow member - competed in the European School of Golf Ladies Pro-am in Mojacar, Spain.
She said: "I have been the bridesmaid before so I was very excited and, as you can imagine, the champagne was flowing.
It was staged over three courses Marine de la Torre, Valle de Este and Desert Springs, the spectacular desert course designed by Peter McEvoy.
The seven players spent a week under the Spanish sun. Included in the trip was a practice round at Desert Springs and a fun Texas scramble at Valle de Este.
Each team enjoyed daily tuition with their own team professional. The format consisted of the pro playing nine holes with each three amateurs. The best four scores from each hole counted as the team score.
Sarah's team was Patti Smith and Janet Hyndman from Ross on Wye, Corinne Mills from The Worcestershire, Janet Stone and Velma Bentley from Windwhistle and local lass Bernadette O'Brien.
Janet also won the best individual score for the week.
