THE Swindon Evening Cricket League suffered at the hands of the weather, with only two fixtures surviving.
These came in Division 4, with Anchor taking the chance to go top of the table.
They gained their second victory of the season, defeating L&K Skips by 48 runs.
Dave Bott senior scored 58 runs and was ably supported by Barry Palmer on 29 as Anchor reached 113-4.
L&K Skips were then bowled out for 65 in the reply, with Spike Chandler taking 4-17.
In the league's only other game, Nine Elms registered a victory over Phoenix.
Phoenix were all out for 77, and Nine Elms made 78 for the loss of eight wickets, Simon King with five of those.
