Robert Key will return for Kent againsst Gloucestershire today for the Cheltenham and Glouceseter Trophy clash.
He replaces Matt Banes, but otherwise Kent field the same side that went down by 139 runs in the National League at Worcester.
Mark Ealham will skipper the side but he could think twice about opening the batting again after his side's poor show at New Road.
Key will no doubt help strengthen that department after his England duty and Australian Greg Blewett will be looking to make an impact for Kent in the one-day game.
Gloucestershire skipper Mark Alleyne will lead a squad of 13.
Off-spinner Martyn Ball is included in the squad together with star batsmen Craig Spearman and Jonty Rhodes.
But cup specialists Gloucestershire will be without the influential Ian Harvey, who is currently touring in the West Indies with Australia.
