TAXI and private hire company Salisbury and District Value Cars has installed new IT, which improves safety when calling a taxi.

Called Callback, it overcomes the need to wait on the street or anywhere else a customer might feel uncomfortable.

When customers order a taxi on 50 50 50 and ask for Callback, the driver will ring the phone the customer called from twice when approaching.

By the time the customer gets outside, the driver will be there.
