SWINDON cyclists will be getting into the saddle to raise money for cancer research this summer.
The Swindon Cycle for Life fundraiser takes place on July 27 at Lydiard Country Park.
Cycle for Life is a series of 18 bike rides held across the country to raise money for research into cancers affecting men.
Last year, 200 cyclists from Swindon raised more than £13,000. This year, the charity is hoping 600 riders will take part, raising £30,000.
The ride starts at 10am at Lydiard Country Park, and follows a circular route taking in Minety and Hook.
Organiser Toby Fielder said: "It's not a race, it's a ride, which will take place on quiet roads, so it is suitable for all ages and all abilities, especially families."
The entry fee is £7.50 for adults, and £4.50 for under-18s.
