A REUNION lunch at RAF Lyneham brought together more than 200 members of the Air Despatch Association.
Those attending the event were either serving or retired soldiers from the 47 Air Despatch Squadron, which is based at RAF Lyneham.
The squadron was recently involved in air drops over Iraq.
Brian Wadham, a former corporal with the squadron who helped to organise the reunion, said: "It was very successful, and we had veterans from Australia, New Zealand, America and Canada.
"There was lots of chat, as you would expect from a group of old soldiers."
During their stay at the weekend, the international visitors were taken on trips to Salisbury and London, where they watched the changing of the guard, followed by a boat trip on the River Thames.
