Henrietta Brockway has made Dorset history by being the youngest women's champion at the age of 13.
The Yeovil schoolgirl sprang a major surprise by beating Carly Cummins (Parkstone) 3 and 1 in the final in appalling wet, windy and cold weather at Came Down.
She beat another teenager 16-year-old Kerry-Anne Haskell (Knighton Heath) at the 19th hole in the semi-final while Cummins defeated Harriet Legg (Dudsbury) 6 and 5.
Haskell won the 36-hole qualifier with 153, followed by Nicky Stone (Bridport and West Dorset) 154, Claire Jones (Dudsbury) 157, Jessica Pearcey (Ferndown) 158 and Brockway 158.
